Recycling is collected every week on your service day as indicated below. If your service day falls on a holiday, there will be a one day delay in service. All subsequent collection days that week will also be delayed one day. Place containers at the curb the night before pickup.
Garbage & Recycle Collection Update. Reminder to put Garbage out by 7am for collection. Next week, beginning Monday, January 2, 2023, will be normal collection schedule. The Grand Island Wastewater Treatment Facility is located in the southeast corner of Buckhorn State Park on approximately 17.5 acres of land and is designed to handle a domestic sewage flow of 3.5 million gallons of sewage per day.
