11 Νοε 2016 · I have a Tivo HD that had been working fine until just a few days ago. Got the green screen and tried to let it repair itself. Most of the time when it finished it would reboot and end up back on the green screen again after the powering up screens.

21 Μαΐ 2020 · It only stays in the green screen for 15 seconds before rebooting. I tried to kickstart into some other tests, but they don't change the pattern. How can I get the tivo to boot normally?
26 Ιουν 2024 · Tonight it suddenly began resetting and repeating a green screen message about a serious problem with the DVR. Your TiVo's hard drive has failed, and will require replacing. Providing you have VM home broadband, your TiVo will be replaced with a V6 - much newer box, quicker, with more recording tuners and additional streaming apps.. but running ...
3 Δεκ 2023 · I had the dvr green page of death problem Saturday, and have booked an engineer for Monday. Subsequently the problem seems to have resolved itself. But according to your online forum my driver is likely to fail soon.

Try connecting component video and if you get a picture, voila', there's your answer. then I should have been clearer, I was referring to the "green screen of death" as it seems to be called here.
17 Ιουν 2024 · I'm afraid that's known as the green screen of death. It means your hard drive has failed and the box will need replacing. It's a miracle that the box seemed to initially recover from this fault, but the resetting also confirms that the box needs replacing. VM have stopped issuing new Tivo boxes.
