This remote controller is designed to separately control your ceiling fan speed and light brightness. There are four buttons (HI, MED, LOW, OFF) to control the speed of the fan and off. The light dimmer button will control the light brightness dimmer and off.
To reprogram a Harbor Breeze fan remote, start by removing the battery cover from the back of the remote and taking out the batteries. Press all the buttons on the remote to drain any residual power, then wait for about 30 seconds before reinserting the batteries.
