The Hayworth Theatre is a theater and performing arts venue at 2511 Wilshire Boulevard located in the Westlake neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. [1]
Dynasty Typewriter at the Hayworth Theatre is LA's home for highly curated live events, comedy, variety, music, and more.
The history of the Hayworth also extends next door, as it is adjacent to La Fonda de Los Camperos. Opened in 1969 by famed mariachi musician Nati Cano as a home for his group, Los Camperos. The first-of-its-kind mariachi dinner theater, it soon became a staple of LA culture.
The Hayworth Theatre is conveniently located in Los Angeles' Historic Wilshire District. Formerly a movie theater and dance studio, The Hayworth has been transformed into Los Angeles' hottest and most vibrant comedy & variety theatre.
The Hayworth theatre in Westlake, one block west of MacArthur Park, opened as the Masque theatre in 1926, designed by noted theatre architect Stiles O. Clements (El Capitan, Mayan, Wiltern, Belasco; Chapman Market & Jefferson High School) in the Spanish Colonial Revival style.
Comfortable, intimate, quirky theatre - a great place to see a live performance. I went for the hilarious Workjuice Improv, put on by Thrilling Adventure Hour alumni. Loads of laughs.
With a classic Spanish Colonial Revival design and a touch of Hollywood glamour, the beautiful Hayworth Theatre sets a tone of warmth and style for any type of event. Located in the historic Westlake district, the venue is centrally located between DTLA and Koreatown along LA’s iconic Wilshire Boulevard.
