Especially for kids who tend to put everything in their mouths. The good news, is that this easy goop recipe is just corn starch and water, totally food safe. While it’s not the same texture as the Borax slime, it’s a satisfying and fun sensory experience.
Make the Goo 1. Pour the Borax solution into the glass bowl of Poly Vinyl Alcohol Solution. Swish the bowl as you pour to make sure you get the glow powder which has settled on the bottom of the bowl out. 2. Mix with your hands for a moment, the goo should form almost instantly. 3. You can add food coloring now, if you didn't in the earlier steps.
One common activator is borax powder, but you can also use liquid starch or a mixture of water and baking soda. Keep in mind that activators are optional and not necessary for making goo. You can still create goo with just glue and water. Making goo requires only a few basic materials, making it a great DIY project for kids and adults alike.
