28 Αυγ 2024 · Humanoid robots are robots that resemble and act like humans. Typically engineered to imitate authentic human expressions, interactions and movements, these robots are often outfitted with an array of cameras, sensors and AI and machine learning technologies.
20 Δεκ 2017 · While facing the challenges of designing and building a humanoid robot, it is important to provide extensive sensorimotor capabilities and to promote the discovery of new techniques and methods, which can be applied to more task-specific service robots or in other engineering fields.
Abstract—Demonstrating acrobatic behavior of a humanoid robot such as flips and spinning jumps requires systematic approaches across hardware design, motion planning, and control. In this paper, we present a new humanoid robot design, an actuator-aware kino-dynamic motion planner, and a landing controller as part of a practical system design for
7 Ιουν 2021 · The MIT Humanoid Robot: Design, Motion Planning, and Control For Acrobatic Behaviors, by Matthew Chignoli, Donghyun Kim, Elijah Stanger-Jones, and Sangbae Kim from MIT and UMass Amherst, will be ...
11 Σεπ 2024 · So far, most humanoid robot designs involve centralized solutions, using methods from traditional robotics control engineering to control the movement of all limbs and joints 1. However, such...
In this paper, we present a new humanoid robot design, an actuator-aware kino-dynamic motion planner, and a landing controller as part of a practical system design for highly dynamic motion control of the humanoid robot. To achieve the impulsive motions, we develop two new proprioceptive actuators.
In the rapidly expanding field of humanoid robots, engineers are under pressure to quickly develop designs that can deliver new capabilities — while maintaining affordability — in advance of potential competitors.
