Hollow Ichigo (虚 (ホロウ) 一護, Horō Ichigo), also known as The Hollow within Ichigo (一護の内面 (ないめん) の虚 (ホロウ), Ichigo no naimen no Horō) or White Ichigo (白一護, Shiro Ichigo), is the manifested spirit of Ichigo Kurosaki's Hollow powers. He has stated himself to represent Ichigo's purest instincts.
Hollow Ichigo appears behind Tensa Zangetsu. When Ichigo looks at it, he sees his inner Hollow, with his Bankai activated. However, his inner Hollow also has long hair, and a black mask with horns and white lines vertically stretching across his eyes. He greets Ichigo, who stares at him speechlessly.

Ichigo builds a personal relationship with his Hollow forms, overcoming grief and embracing power. Ichigo also overcame his fear of battle by becoming the Hollow's "king" and using its mask as a tool in battle.
