12 Σεπ 2011 · It is possible to have a voice-only no-data iPhone. Be careful about trying to set this up yourself on the phone. Phones have been known to use data (and get charged) even when all phone options have been set to not use data. Your best bet is to call the carrier and ask them to disable all data from their end. 23 Οκτ 2011 · I was told that I have to have a data plan in order for my iPhone to operate properly. That isn't entirely true either. If you go to your SETTINGS>General>Network you should see two buttons one for 3G and one for Data.
