16 Απρ 2012 · Easiest way to go is to get the engine, tranny, transfer case (if there is one), wiring harness and computer all at the same time, out of the same vehicle. Makes everything a whole lot easier to install and live with. Lots of shops can reflash the computer to meet your needs after the swap.
22 Οκτ 2014 · I'm in the middle of planning a 5.3/6.0L swap, and trying to decide what route to go with the motor mounts (squeeze it in or just rebuild the front frame like you did). Would also love to see some shots of the metal work on the rear interior.

30 Ιουν 2010 · LS swaps are highly sought after, but a lot of people are discouraged in actually attempting the swap because they think it will really hurt their wallet. With this guide to a cheap LSx swap, it makes it virtually easy and inexpensive to shove an LS engine in anything you can think of.
3 Ιουλ 2022 · I swapped in some Bilstein 5100's and it significantly improved the ride. I think I lost a bit of ride height up front with the addition of a winch and mounting plate for a total of roughly 100lbs which has brought my front ride height down a little bit.
6 Οκτ 2013 · I've seen a good amount of these build threads over the web, JF, WF, unlimited. Some more detailed than others. I have a hard time going through some of the less detailed threads as they don't provide nearly as much info for the swap as others. My plan is to make the most detailed 5.3 swap thread ever.
