Miss USA 2009 will be crowned during the LIVE NBC broadcast of the 2009 Miss USA competition on Sunday, April 19 at 7PM (ET) at the Theater of Performing Arts at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino, Las Vegas.
Why did you decide to participate in the Miss Mississippi Teen USA pageant? I was encouraged to compete by a friend of mine who had competed in the pageant twice. She obviously had a great experience and when I showed interest she supported me. I was truly lucky, I competed my last year of eligibility for the Teen group!
