Devin Meenan of /Film considered the raptors more popular than the franchise's T. rex, calling them "the most persistent (and terrifying) threat in the 'Park' trilogy before being thrust into the unlikely (and ridiculous) role of hero in the following 'World' trilogy." [103]
Velociraptor is one of the most popular dinosaurs in the Jurassic Park movie media. The Velociraptor featured in the films aren't the actual animal, but rather appear to be their own separate species judging by the Holoscape. Velociraptors have a major role in all five movies.
In the original endings for Jurassic Park, one raptor was to be crushed by one of the falling skeletons while the other would either be moved and crushed to the jaws of the T. rex skeleton by Dr. Grant using a crane or by Hammond shooting the raptor.
19 Ιαν 2014 · As the T-Rex is about to be killed, a Velociraptor appears and attacks the Indominus Rex, giving the T-Rex a chance to get back into the battle. The two dinosaurs manage to push the Indominus Rex to the lagoon before it is attacked by the Mosasaurus.
