Children with non-systemic polyarthritis, sacroiliitis, and enthesitis are at risk for permanent joint damage and decreased health related quality of life. Early initiation of DMARD therapy in children with juvenile idiopathic arthritis is important for optimal disease outcomes.
Objective.
