To apply for either type of help, visit your local Public Housing Agency (PHA). Some PHAs have long waiting lists, so you may want to apply at more than one PHA.

4 Ιουν 2024 · What Are the Kentucky Section 8 Housing Requirements? If you receive Section 8 subsidies, there are several rules you have to follow. You must provide accurate income and household information to your local Public Housing Agency and notify them quickly about any changes in your circumstances.
In order to qualify for the Kentucky Section 8 ( Housing Choice Voucher )Program, applicants must meet a set of eligibility requirements. These eligibility requirements are set by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and are mainly based on the income and nationality of the applicant.
KHC provides rental assistance directly to applicants through the Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) program, also known as Section 8. This provides a voucher that moves with the recipient to different rental units that accept it. When the HCV waiting list opens, applicants must apply throught the HCV Rent Café portal.
