12 Μαρ 2019 · The keys to life is the learning disability strategy for Scotland. This easy read version explains the plan to make it happen from 2019 to 2021, with four themes: living, learning, working and wellbeing.

People with learning disabilities should also be supported to live independently in the community wherever possible.
13 Μαρ 2019 · The Scottish Government's new Implementation Framework 2019 - 2021 aims to improve the lives of people with learning disabilities in Scotland. It adopts a whole system, whole population and whole person approach and has a new website with four priority areas.

We explored how best to deliver the vision of The keys to life and A Fairer Scotland for Disabled People into sustained improvement in the lives of people with learning disabilities. Our key themes – wellbeing, living, working and learning - started to emerge from this work.
‘The keys to life’ is the new strategy for people with learning disabilities. ‘The keys to life’ has lots of recommendations about how to make the lives of people with learning disabilities better. A recommendation is an idea about how to make things better in the future.
