The Kyzylkum Desert (Uzbek: Qizilqum, Қизилқум, قِیزِیلقُوم; Kazakh: Қызылқұм, romanized: Qyzylqūm, قىزىلقۇم) is the 15th largest desert in the world. Its name means Red Sand in Turkic languages.
