As of July 1, Metro put a cap on how much riders pay for bus and rail. It’s called fare capping. Which means the more you ride, the more you will save.

22 Ιουλ 2023 · A TAP card is required to ride Metro Rail (any trip), and load any pass for Metro. TAP cards ($2) are available at all Los Angeles Metro ticket machines and onboard buses (plus a fare minimum). Cash is accepted on most bus routes at the farebox at the front door.
