Our inspectors are accessible to the public at their designated LADBS office, or by telephone, from 7:00 to 8:30AM Monday through Friday. Regular field inspections are performed weekdays until 3:30PM. Off-hours inspections are available, and Saturday inspections are available for single-family dwellings.

The purpose of the Internet based Permit and Inspection Report is to allow easy access and visual display of general information from the Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety (LADBS) Plan Check and Inspection System (PCIS) and the Code Enforcement Information System (CEIS).

You must have an inspection done on relevant construction before any work is covered or concealed. All inspections will be recorded on the Building Card (B-8), and plans must be present for each inspection. Final inspection is performed and a Certificate of Occupancy is issued.
