12 Σεπ 2023 · The city of Lander has long wrestled with the issue of flooding; there have been 17 recorded floods in Lander since the late 1800s. It has flooded three times so far during the 21st century – in 2001, 2010 and 2017 – and dealing with floods and their aftermath is expensive.
19 Μαΐ 2023 · Not since 2010 have conditions been as ripe for flooding in southern Wyoming as they are this spring. That year, rainfall and elevated snowpack, along with warmer temperatures, caused low-lying areas in the towns of Lander and Hudson to flood.
