The next time he buys a Land's End shirt, he's not going to experience that jump in quality and will likely perceive the new shirt as not as high quality as the first one. Of course, this is just my hypothesis, but I would not be surprised to find some truth in it. Edit: If you don't think they're bad quality then for you they aren't bad quality.
20 Αυγ 2021 · I know Lands' End quality has diminished in the last 10 years or so. More significantly they silently stopped advertising their "Guaranteed. Period." lifetime no-questions-asked return policy on everything. You can still return stuff with the receipt but they don't make it so easy now, so I would no longer put them in the BuyItForLife category ...
Ll bean is definitely better quality than lands end. Sometimes the lower quality is ok and I still buy the lands end item. Overall I agree with others that quality was better years ago but I wouldn’t say it’s the same as J.C. Penney. I watch for sales and strike then. 1.

26 Δεκ 2012 · To compare with Brooks Brothers, I have found that Land's End tailored fit shirts fit a bit tighter than BB's Slim Fit (which fits me great without tailoring). I just ordered two LE shirts in the same size and one was too tight and I sent it back -- so there are slight variances their sizes from shirt to shirt. 1. Award.
1 Δεκ 2014 · I like Land's End. Their stuff strikes a good balance between durability, fit, style, and price. Don't be afraid of their "traditional fit" stuff either - even though there's some extra fabric, I'm a skinny guy and I find it drapes on me better than some other brands' slim fits.
20 Αυγ 2020 · Got it for $24 during an end-of-season sale a couple of years back. It's an ideal jacket for walks or quick errands in the fall or spring. It does crack me up that it's marketed as a winter jacket (the fleece-lined one is, anyway). It's certainly not that warm. 3.
