1st Due Leathers is a small, family owned business based out of Galena, MD specializing in custom fire helmet restoration including repaints, repairs, brim shaping and parts. All Retro/Standard holders, Chin straps and short, ear flaps are 100% made in house.
REPAIR & PREP WORK. If your helmet is getting repair work firsthand, this stage is meant for you! As the helmet works its way down after being stripped (if being repainted), our techs begin working on laying down compound epoxy and filler in the areas that are being bolstered.
