Aquinas Literacy Center is improving our neighborhoods; it is improving Chicago. One-on-One Tutoring. Tutors commit to 90-minutes of instruction each week with their students. They serve as teachers, mentors, coaches and facilitators to assist learners in achieving their personal and professional life goals.

About - Literacy Chicago. Serving Adults Since 1968. In 1968, two organizations, Literacy Volunteers of Chicago and Literacy Council of Chicago, were created to address the literacy and language needs of Chicago adults. These two dynamic groups merged in 1992 to establish Literacy Chicago.
The UIC Center for Literacy is a public service and research center that works to improve literacy education, policy, and research at the local, state, and national levels. We provide FA mily ST art (FAST) Learning and Support Services to empower and strengthen Chicago Early Learning families.
Aquinas Literacy Center is a community-based organization located in McKinley Park on the southwest side of Chicago. Since 1996, Aquinas has served the immigrant community by offering free individualized instruction in the English language.
