  1. 14 Ιαν 2021 · I've used lithium batteries on all my bikes for years in the Florida heat, and as long as you don't cheap out on a bad one and don't live in the tundra, they're fantastic. I've had Ballistic Performance batteries in an RC51 and an F4 for like 6 years now and they're both still running like champs.

  2. 16 Μαΐ 2024 · Although new bikes now come with Lithium as standard I still use my preferred battery if it fits. Shorai are probably the best quality brand but with a price to match. I now use a Landport unit. 8+ years in and no problems at all.

  5. There is talk of lithium batteries perhaps having lower reliability. I'd reccomend just buying from a reputable brand and yes, on cold days, run the headlight for like 50 seconds. I like the lithium battery in my bike for extra heated gear

  6. 6 Μαρ 2020 · Lithium Battery suggestions. I've been having some issues with the bike, and they are partially due to a drained battery. I want to go with a lithium, but would ideally not like to break the bank.

  7. 30 Ιαν 2022 · The claim of a lower discharge rate is correct for Lithium, if nothing is connected to the battery. I think most people forget, there is a constant current drain on the battery (clock/ECU/alarm) when connected. My personal experience is around 7 years on an AGM battery.
