Our rescue volunteers provide adoption services for Maltese acquired from shelters or surrendered by their owners. Approved foster homes are utilized to care for abused, sickly, and homeless Maltese until such time as an adoptive family is approved for the dogs forever home.

We are dedicated to rescuing Maltese from California shelters and owner surrenders. Maltese Rescue California is run by compassionate professionals who volunteer their time and resources to save and care for those animals.
We specialize in rehoming bichons and other small, hypoallergenic mixed breeds that can no longer be cared for by their family. We also rescue senior bichons and those needing special veterinary care from local animal shelters.
