May 18, 2013. On the top of most pay scales, there are notations like BA, MA etc... I know that they mean Bachelors & Masters, but what does +15 and +30 mean after that? Would MA + 15 mean that someone completed a masters and then another 15 credits? And does it matter how many credits are in that masters degree?
