Pyromania: Day One. June 25, 2012 - TF2 Team. You read that right (presumably): the long-awaited final Meet the Team short, Meet the Pyro, is dropping in less than three days, and we decided to assemble a massive update to celebrate it.
Enter the Meet the Team shorts, showcasing the mercs in their off-hours—arguing with their parents, barking orders at their head collections, or just strumming a guitar by the campfire. The Pyro is a pyromaniac class of indeterminate origin with a muffled voice and a burning passion for all things fire related. As shown in Meet the Pyro, the Pyro may be delusional, visualizing themself in a utopian fantasy world known as Pyroland. The Pyro specializes in fighting enemies at close range using a homemade Flame Thrower.
Because today's new items contain some Meet the Pyro spoilers, we're gonna hold off on announcing those until the update’s ready later today. But!
