Michigan will use a modified version of the Girls NFHS (National Federation of High School Sports) 14 weight classes of: 100, 105, 110, 115, 120, 125, 130, 135, 140, 145, 155, 170, 190 and 255 . These weights will be used for regular and post season events that are girls only events in 21-22.
Changes to 4-1-1 and 4-5-7 clarified the uniform requirements for female wrestlers. Female wrestlers shall wear a sports bra that completely covers their breasts and minimizes the risk of exposure during weigh-ins and competition.
2022-23 Rules Meeting Dates and Coaches Requirements. Assistant and subvarsity coaches who have been registered in the MHSAA’s system with an up-to-date email address may log in to MHSAA.com and complete the same required rules meeting, just as the varsity head coach must do.
