Answer. DI. DionisioDiego. Replied on February 18, 2024. Only workaround for now is uninstalling the app via settings > apps > installed apps by searching for 'Bing' and then reinstalling from the Microsoft store searching for 'web search'. To earn the 1000 points in the daily streak puzzle, you will need to complete at least 3 searches in Bing Search without missing a day to obtain a puzzle piece. Once you complete all the puzzle pieces, you will receive the 1000 reward points. If you miss the task on a certain day, the streak will reset, and you will have to start again on day 1.
10 Νοε 2023 · Yes, it did work in Chrome but it wasn't a browser problem (after all, Chrome and Edge use the same engine). Since deleting all the cookies solved the problem I can only assume that one of Bings cookies got corrupted. Whether that would also manifest on a Chrome browser is anyone's guess. Jen__L. 15 Μαρ 2023 · I’m sorry to hear that you don’t like Bing. If you want to remove Bing from Microsoft Edge’s new tab page, you can do so by going into the settings. To do this, click on the three dots in the upper right-hand corner of Edge and then click on Settings. Once you’re in the Settings menu, click on the tab that says "On startup."
25 Αυγ 2024 · Here are some steps you can take to try and resolve this issue: Use Microsoft Edge: Ensure you're using Edge and clear cache/cookies. Try Incognito Mode: Open the task in a private/incognito window. Sign Out/In: Sign out of your Microsoft account, then sign back in. Use Another Device: Try on a different device if possible.
28 Σεπ 2023 · And, of course none of those steps resolved the issue. Why, because it's on the Microsoft end that's causing it. Since the latest updates to both the Edge and Bing homepages about a week ago, the issues began. I contacted Microsoft Support and got a reply that they are aware of the issues and are currently trying to correct them.
24 Σεπ 2023 · Go to System > Sound and scroll down to Advanced. Under Advanced, click All sound devices. Under All sound devices, click on the output device used, for example, Realtek HD Audio.
