3 Ιαν 2022 · I don't think that would work, what happened to me is I bought Minecraft, if I go into the installations tab in the launcher I can play, but when i go into the skins tab it says i do not have Minecraft. when I click the link, it just shows the Minecraft download page, saying, "download Minecraft if you haven't already" meaning I already payed, which I did and bought it.

But after the successful transaction was made, I went back to Profile page, it says that "I haven't purchased Minecraft: Java Edition". I only own 1 Microsoft account. I checked my bank's recent transactions and I was charged for the game I bought.
I bought Minecraft Java back in 2020 and I was wondering if since theres the if you buy java you can get bedrock for free and vice versa.

Created on February 25, 2021. Sharing Minecraft Java Edition with Microsoft family members. I have purchased Minecraft Java Edition with my Microsoft account and only now find out that the members in my family (on my Microsoft account), is not able to play as well as I need to purchase a separate Minecraft account for them.

I have just bought minecraft for my daughter. Windows 10 - Java edition. We cant understand how to enable the multiplayer option. It says check settings for the microsoft account, but we cant find where to do this when logging into either my (family account) or her microsoft account. We really need help here. Regards. Johan
7 Ιαν 2021 · I don't see why it wouldn't work - I had to have a Microsoft account in order to purchase and run it, so it should be shareable in my family group. No it’s not possible. I had to purchase two copies of Java edition so two people could play together at the same time. Minecraft responded to my request for a discount/freebie with a negative.
