The application or process showing as “NA” under Startup tab could be related to an application that you may have uninstalled from the computer recently. Let’s run the Microsoft Autorun tool to find out the details behind the process and then remove it manually.

I have a couple of programs in the Startup tab, that after being uninstalled remained there. In this picture you can see Switcher, which used to launch on startup, remains in the tab after being uninstalled. Open file location is greyed out.
23 Ιουν 2022 · If you open Task Manager and go to the Startup tab, it lists the programs that are registered in the Startup group or the Run key to run automatically when you sign in.
6 Σεπ 2014 · NA here isn't the name of the program but meants as n/a, Not Applicable. I think it's something left off in your registry of an old program that was uninstalled. The link is still there in your registry but it points to something that has been deleted.

1 Σεπ 2023 · There are two convenient ways to stop an application from running on startup on Windows 11: the Task Manager and the Startup Apps page of the Settings app. To disable startup apps with the Task Manager, Press Ctrl+Shift+Esc to open Task Manager, then switch to the Startup tab.
