In fall 2022, about 33 percent of all public elementary and secondary school students attended schools where students of color 7 made up at least 75 percent of total enrollment. This represents an increase from the 28 percent of all public school students who attended such schools in fall 2012.
The CCD School Locator was created to enable the public to find the correct name, address, telephone number, NCES ID number, urbanicity (rural, large city, etc.), and other student and teacher information for public schools as reported to NCES by state education officials in each state.
