The second season of Nikita, an American television drama based on the French film La Femme Nikita (1990), the remake Point of No Return (1993), and a previous series La Femme Nikita (1997), was announced on May 17, 2011, [1] which premiered on September 23, 2011, at 8:00 pm (ET). [2]

On May 17, 2011 Nikita was renewed for a second season by the CW in the 2011–12 fall season. [16] It was later announced that they would move the show to Friday nights at 8:00 p.m., pairing it with Supernatural, beginning Fall 2011. In the second season premiere, Nikita and Michael plot to take down Division and Oversight. Amanda, who is now running Division, enlists Alex’s help to stop them. Nikita and a reluctant Michael join forces with Owen (DEVON SAWA), who is searching for the mastermind (JOHN RALSTON) behind the Regimen. Meanwhile, Percy demands to see Alex.
