High-kill shelters saw 23 million pets dying each year, with only a 12% adoption rate. In 1984, the president of the San Francisco SPCA, Rich Avanzino, made it his mission to create a “no-kill” city.

Every day, our team works to save the lives of kittens and cats by providing: spay/neuter, trap/neuter/return (TNR), adoptions, wellness care, medical care, and community shelter support.
Fearless Kitty Rescue is a recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit, no-kill rescue committed to finding homes for homeless and abandoned cats of all ages. The organization is funded one hundred percent by donations and is supported by enthusiastic volunteers.
