13 Ιουλ 2022 · Will be making this trip end of August (Happy Valley-Goose Bay, NL to Ottawa, ON through New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Quebec). Any tips, stops, free campsites, interesting activities, etc are all welcome. I’ll probably try to stay under 10-11ish days too. Very excited.
Nova Scotia has been up and down in recent times, some people move away in bad times and if their life gets better in any measurable way, then NS was the reason for that, and NS will always be that way, and where they moved to will always be better. Some people just struggle in general when they're young, especially with finding jobs.
You clearly never seen Guysborough after 6 PM lol come see us in the summer! Check out our amazing folk festival, try the best pizza east of Quebec, take a boat ride to one of oldest historic seaports in North America, take in a nature walk on the Chapel Gully Trail, and then relax in Black Duck Cove Beach!

10 Νοε 2019 · I've said sneakers, scribbler and sook my whole life and had no idea that they were uniquely Canadian. Also I might add "hacking darts" is a common replacement for smoking cigarettes at least here in Nova Scotia. We also have a surprisingly vast range of accents here for such a small province.
7 Σεπ 2022 · Although technically a travel channel, The Delightful Travellers are from Nova Scotia and have a decent amount of content from the province. They stayed home during the pandemic and released a lot of great videos.
7 Φεβ 2022 · Schools are funny in Nova Scotia. The only three rules I think you can rely on are: Newer schools have better facilities and a better school experience Investments and upkeep are never sufficient to keep schools functional. The older the school, the less likely they will have anything.
I recently moved to Nova Scotia and could have chosen anywhere to live. Originally from NS, I always said there are only two places I'd want to live: peninsular Halifax and Wolfville. My logic is that if I was going to do city-living, I was going to commit and be right downtown or South End.
30 Δεκ 2020 · Same process as a car. You will take the ownership papers to Access Nova Scotia and they will put it into your name (registration) and issue you a plate. There are a handful of shops around HRM that can do the safety inspections on them also, which are to be done yearly.
