O. C. Fisher Reservoir (also known as O. C. Fisher Lake, formerly known as San Angelo Lake) is an artificial lake located west of the city of San Angelo, Texas.
O.C. Fisher was effectively dry in early 2015, but water levels improved in spring. TPWD has restocked the reservoir with largemouth bass, white crappie, blue catfish, channel catfish, and bluegill. Although a few large fish can be caught, most fish are small as they are only one to two years old.
Try your luck fishing in O.C. Fisher Reservoir or the Concho River. You don’t need a fishing license to fish from shore or pier in a state park; but you will need one to fish from a boat. The park has a boat ramp, but the lake level varies. Check with the park before you come.
For near real-time instantaneous water level, see table below or the interactive map viewer. Data is provisional and subject to revision.
