12 Δεκ 2023 · But if they took the time to add the Oil Pump, there's a chance that they've also spawned in some oil veins. You can't use it without the veins, so it's useless if they haven't also added the veins. I've played on a few servers where they spawned veins into the snow biome, but you'll have to check.

27 Νοε 2021 · Oil pump no. Wind turbine will sometimes work but is not reliable. Wind isn’t guaranteed like it is on Scorched. Rag and Val aren’t official story arks so they’re set up differently. Engrams are a combination of the other arks. So are the toys and tools you can use
In case the they have updated Ark and there are actually oil veins, keep your eyes out for them. Also keep your eyes out for oil pumps (see image below) as that can also tell you if you can in fact use an oil pump on the Island. Oil Pump Image. 29 Σεπ 2021 · Title. I’m a new player on the island and it’s my first time getting to the later stage of the game. I need gasoline for my generator and I’ve been killing tek dinos for oil. I was scrolling through the engrams page and saw that I skipped over the oil pumps. Are they worth building and can you place them on land or in the ocean or both.
7 Μαρ 2020 · How can you get oil out of oil veins when the oil pump is blacked out only for Scorched Earth? Anything on SE can also be learnt on Rag and I think most Ab things can be learnt on Val. Only Extinction engrams like element and shards from dust seem to be behind a paywall but since they gave everybody easy mode tek reps and shards to element is just automatic, that kind of evens out.

10 Μαΐ 2021 · I think you went off on a circumstantial tangent here, bud. You're commenting like I'm saying that OP has to buy the DLCs to experience the Scorched Earth stuff. That isn't what I'm saying at all. I'm literally just saying that they need to get the oil pump through other means besides learning it in their engrams.
26 Ιουλ 2017 · In my opinion timers are just fine for PVE servers, at least gives you a chance to get an oil pump... there are very addicted people in this game . Took me 1 month to get a pump on Ragnarok server .. And yes I keep it unlocked .. unfortunate few does this ..
1 Φεβ 2020 · As far as i know the oil pump can be destroyed after one day by any other player but people build metal houses around them to prevent this. The code of conduct says that it is not allowed "Blocking access to important resources (ie. charge nodes, gas nodes, Extinction City Terminals, etc)"
