23 Δεκ 2021 · The easiest way to insert a horizontal line is keyboard shortcuts of Hyphens key, for example press the hyphens key (-) will get a plain horizontal line in the OneNote. Or just select the line shape from the Draw tab and use my mouse to quickly draw a line. It's not bad - though not quite as easy as just inserting a horizontal line.

To find it on your hard disk (its path) either let your mouse hover over the notebook in the left pane or right click on it and select Properties. BTW: Notebooks you are using daily should never be closed. Just close OneNote. I repeat myself: a notebook is a folder, not a file.

When I opened office 365 that had and then opened onenote app a different onenote app opened which had file tab. I don't know where my onenote default desktop app is (which doesn't have a file tab) saved my notebook.
