27 Ιουν 2015 · Open document from within an app. Click the File menu then click Open (if the file is already listed on the Recent documents menu, you can click it to open it immediately). By default, the application will go to the Documents library. If the document is not listed there, use the navigation pane to browse to where the file is located.

Go into the Settings on OneDrive, select the Backup tab and uncheck Documents (and Desktop and Pictures if you wish) and those folders should get moved back to their position under C:\Users\<youraccount>, unless you've manually created folders of the same name, which is not the correct approach.

When I click on a document it gives me a pop up box with the following message: "Can't open this file. Make sure Onedrive is running on your PC and try again" How do I fix this? 20 Νοε 2022 · Hi asheryl, I am Dave, I will help you with this. 1 In Windows 10 and 11 there are two sets of the library folders (Documents, Desktop and Pictures) one set is in your user folder in C:\Users and the other set (the default) is in the OneDrive folder in your user folder in C:\Users.
2 Ιουν 2023 · I cannot open any of my "regular" office files - Word, Excel, Power Point etc. All files seem to have been "sucked into" the new Microsoft 365 program - which has apparenty placed them in to One Drive. I HATE ONE DRIVE. I will NOT use ONE DRIVE. How can I get all my files back onto my desktop / documents files like they always have been.

If you used the Fax and Scan app on your Windows PC, you can check the Scanned Documents subfolder of the Documents folder. Open File Explorer. In the navigation pane, click Documents. Click Scanned Documents.
