I try to avoid proprietary software on meaningless things and RGB would be one of them if this software didn't exist. Yeah I would just not have bothered with RGB at all. Remember this is vanity.

The supported devices page is very outdated and, as I understand l, will be replaced with an automagically generated list fairly soon.   6. OpenRGB aims to control hardware directly, without the use of vendor software. The main reason for this is because I wanted to use RGB on Linux, where vendor software doesn't exist, but also because vendor software is bloated and annoying on Windows.

I downloaded and used OpenRGB but it just crashes for me. If you read the release notes there is a chance of bricking Gigabyte x570 boards. With that being said, im not chancing it.
