Pasture Raised Chicken goes beyond free range and organic. Our pasture raised chickens live outside 24/7 with no antibiotics or drugs. Instead, we rotate our pasture raised chickens to fresh grass every single day to ensure they can peck and scratch for bugs, worms, grasses, and seeds.
Humanely raised on chemical free pastures, our free range chickens forage all day without cages, pens or chicken tractors. All of our poultry is fed certified organic feed and remains free of hormones, antibiotics, medications, pesticides or herbicides.
We produce organic hay for a local organic dairy and vegetables that are direct marketed. Our chickens are raised on grass pasture that produce eggs that are superior in nutrition and taste. Pasture rotation is the key to our healthy flock of chickens. Our custom built mobile coops are moved every 2-4 days, sometimes daily during the wet season. This gives the chickens access to fresh grass, seeds, insects, snakes, frogs, lizards, and mice.
