If it still doesn't seem to work, try uninstalling and re-installing. If it's a game bought through steam, you'll install it using steam. Then launch Origin client, select that game in the library.... it'll show a 'download' button still. Click it, Origin will find the steam install and change the button to 'Play.'.
UPDATE: Hi all, Since Origin for Windows is no longer available or is being supported, I'm going to close this thread to stop it from being necro'd.
To set that just head to your menu (three dash icon in the top-left of the EA app), then Settings > Download will let you select your install location. If you set this to your current location with those installs, it should do a quick scan and update anything as needed before letting you launch the games. View in thread. #2.

@125gh145hj If Origin is set to start when your computer powers on then to restart the program (Origin) all you need to do is reboot your computer.
