Ventra is the name of our fare system. You can buy Ventra Cards to store passes and fare value or disposable Ventra Tickets to ride CTA and Pace buses.

Pace fares. Pace fares can be paid with cash at bus farebox, Ventra fare cards, contactless bank cards, and mobile phone with pay app. Seniors, disabled riders pay reduced fare. It requires a Reduced Fare Ventra card. K-12 students pay student fare ($0.85) on school days from 5:30am to 8:30pm.
