PALS-K is a measure of students' knowledge of several important literacy fundamentals: phonological awareness, alphabet recognition, concept of word, knowledge of letter sounds and spelling.
PALS is a state-provided screening tool for K-3 students to identify struggling readers and provide intervention services. Learn who is assessed, how to check your child's status, and what is the EIRI purpose and policy.
