Fee: $22.00 payable to Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Electronic Submission. The Pennsylvania State Police established a web-based computer application called "Pennsylvania Access to Criminal History" or PATCH. Using this system, a requestor can apply for a criminal background check on an individual basis.
The PATCH system allows users to request criminal history background checks online. Go to the PATCH site. Overview. PSP established the Pennsylvania Access to Criminal History, or PATCH, for agencies, companies, and others to request criminal background checks on individuals.
You can check your criminal history request online at the PATCH site. Make sure that you have the control number and the date that you requested your PATCH check. If you mailed your request in, call 888-783-7972, and choose option 1 to obtain your control number. Go to Record Check Status.
Record Check Status. To perform a search on a record check request you must enter in all the data exactly as it was entered for the original record check request. if a middle name was entered on the original request the you must enter the name exactly.
Docket Sheets. Common Pleas docket sheets are maintained by the Unified Judicial System of Pennsylvania. Access docket sheets. Recent entries made in the court filing offices may not be immediately reflected on these docket sheets.
Case Search. If you are searching for appellate court cases, you must choose the ‘Appellate’ or ‘Docket Number’ option. For legal and technical reasons, some case and calendar event information will not display in search results even if the correct search terms are entered.
