Percocet is available as tablets in strengths of 2.5/325, 5/325, 7.5/325, 7.5/500, 10/325, and 10/650 mg tablets (oxycodone/acetaminophen strengths), with a total daily dose not to exceed 4 grams of acetaminophen to avoid liver damage; 60 mg total per day of oxycodone strength and above used only for opioid tolerant patients.
4 Νοε 2024 · Initiate treatment with PERCOCET using PERCOCET 2.5 mg/325 mg tablets in a dosing range of 1 to 2 tablets every 6 hours as needed for pain, at the lowest dose necessary to achieve adequate analgesia. Titrate the dose based upon the individual patient’s response to their initial dose of PERCOCET.
When taking PERCOCET: Do not change your dose. Take PERCOCET exactly as prescribed by your healthcare provider. Use the lowest dose possible for the shortest time needed. For acute (short-term) pain, you may only need to take PERCOCET for a few days. You may have some PERCOCET left over that you did not use.
