Alan-Peter Gadiot [2] (/ ˈ ɡ æ d i oʊ /; [3] born 2 January 1985 [4]) is a British actor known for his roles as James Valdez in the USA Network show Queen of the South (2016–2021) and as Shanks in Netflix's series One Piece (2023).
