6 Μαΐ 2018 · The only UK insurance that will insure guinea pigs is exotics direct. There is no insurance in non-UK countries. You will have to weigh up whether saving up for a vet on a weekly/monthly bases as an integral part of their living cost more effective. I feel for you!
Mar 29, 2017. #3. Monitor your piggy. Internal or spinal injuries can take one or two days to manifest, so keep an eye on it for that long. Obvious injuries like limping or being off need to been seen as an emergency of course.
28 Ιουν 2010 · Essentially you have to enure they are free of bacterial, viral, fungal and insect infections. This will affect the dinsinfectant you use. Damp wood hutches are not good for "ongoing" fungal so most important thing is to let them dry out totally before you put the piggies back in.

The vet gave her Sulfatrim for 14 days and the bleeding stopped, but then returned a week after the antibiotics stopped. The same thing happened with Baytril. whilst I was on holiday, the bleeding returned a week after the Baytril ...

In any case, I'll be doing a few 'dry runs' of heating the shed overnight whilst the pigs are still inside.

Alternatively, grind the pill in a mortar and then mix with an amount of water that is divisible by 4 (like 2 or 4ml of water). A small vet medication bottle is very handy for the job.
