A family adventure since 1922! Polar Caves is located in the scenic Baker River Valley in Rumney, New Hampshire. Come tour our natural scenic attraction featuring 9 glacial boulder caves. While visiting, feed the fallow deer, pheasants, and ducks.
The park contains nine granite boulder caves connected by a series of boardwalks, a giant boulder maze, an animal park with European fallow deer and ducks, and a mining game for children. The caves are lit, well-marked and relatively easy to traverse using walkways and stairs.

Here, in New Hampshire's White Mountains, Polar Caves offers you the chance to dive into the earth, and rise into the sky. From the Polar Pinch to Fat Man's Misery, King Tut's to The Devil's Turnpike, each cave presents an opportunity for discovery and fun.
Offering 9 granite boulder caves, boulder mazes, nature trails, and an animal park with fallow deer and ducks. Squeeze through our well-lit caves, try your hand at mining for gems at the Baker River Mining Sluice, and snap a selfie with a view at the top of the Raven’s Roost.
Tour our natural scenic attraction featuring nine glacial caves. While visiting, feed the fallow deer and exotic birds, walk the nature trails and try the Polar Mining Expedition and Klondike Mines. Picnic area with charcoal grills available.
