  2. Your PC can run those games fine on emulator with some setting tweaks. PCSX2 is also much improved for almost every game at this point, or just switch to software mode if its not. Its just a game by game basis for emulation, & those games should be fine on your rig. 1.

  3. Your PC is the problem. This isn't PC games you are running, this is a complex PS3 emulator running those games. You should aim for a 6c 12t CPU at the very least, the GPU is fine for RPCS3 since this emulator is CPU bound.

  6. 2 Οκτ 2020 · My understanding is that I need to download and load a PS3 core via RetroArch. However when I go to "Load Core", it only goes as high as PS2. When looking at the downloads page on the RetroArch site, it lists PS3 (PSL1GHT) but the link is broken. However I did track down the version it links to, but it's a .pkg file and not a .dll file.

All these games are tested with the current recommended configuration. I've just received my steam deck and I am absolutely in love with it.

  10. 10 Ιαν 2022 · Yes and no. The Cell in the PS3 was great for crunching through big data payloads in much the same way a supercomputer does (break them up into small units of work). But that doesn't translate well for a game's workload -- games didn't have as many workloads as the Cell had cores, so the extra power went unused.
