27 Μαρ 2024 · ISOs are just Digital copies of a disk and you mount them on the PS3 from Webman or MultiMan, while PKGs you install onto the console which is the main reason why I prefer ISOs, I can just connect an external SSD with all the ISO files and launch the games from there instead of using precious PS3 HDD space
9 Οκτ 2020 · Before you say anything about piracy or anything like that I have a lot of ps3 games I want to emulate but can’t rip the ISO’s my laptop does not have a disk drive and I think it would be easier if I could a good website that actually linked the game files anyways.

19 Οκτ 2022 · Then I mounted the .iso with Daemon Tools and copied the contents of .iso to same folder. Now RPCS3 was able to detect it and add it to the list, but when I try to play the game, it says "Booting failed: The selected file or folder is invalid or corrupted.

start Ps3 Disc Dumper, in settings set your output folder. mount iso (in windows right click>>open with..>>Windows explorer, wait for PS3 Dumper to recognize game and download disc key file >>press start, wait. That gives you decrypted game in folders. You can copy it to GAMES folder (on int.hdd/usb hdd/net share) and just run like that.

12 Αυγ 2023 · Mount the .iso on a PC or Mac which will give you a folder containing all the needed files. Now add .ps3 to the end of that folder’s name. Move that to your PS3 Roms directory on batocera and you’re good to go. The first time you load each game it will take a very long time to unpack files.
