27 Μαρ 2024 · ISOs are just Digital copies of a disk and you mount them on the PS3 from Webman or MultiMan, while PKGs you install onto the console which is the main reason why I prefer ISOs, I can just connect an external SSD with all the ISO files and launch the games from there instead of using precious PS3 HDD space
9 Οκτ 2020 · Before you say anything about piracy or anything like that I have a lot of ps3 games I want to emulate but can’t rip the ISO’s my laptop does not have a disk drive and I think it would be easier if I could a good website that actually linked the game files anyways.

19 Οκτ 2022 · Then I mounted the .iso with Daemon Tools and copied the contents of .iso to same folder. Now RPCS3 was able to detect it and add it to the list, but when I try to play the game, it says "Booting failed: The selected file or folder is invalid or corrupted.
21 Αυγ 2020 · for disc games, i rip to internal hdd using multiman and then copy to fat32 usb using the file manager inside multiman. it will split the iso as it copies to usb. i back them up to ntfs but keep them split so i can copy to fat32 again later if needed.

mount iso (in windows right click>>open with..>>Windows explorer, wait for PS3 Dumper to recognize game and download disc key file >>press start, wait. That gives you decrypted game in folders. You can copy it to GAMES folder (on int.hdd/usb hdd/net share) and just run like that.
16 Ιουλ 2015 · if using multiman, create the ISO into the internal hdd. Try if it works ok. Then copy to an external disk fat32 formatted. Multiman should be able to split it accordingly. PS3 ISO tools from rudi rastelli runs from the PC and can create the ISO Directly into an external fat32 disc (choose the split option because fat32 limits file sizes to 4GB)
16 Ιουλ 2023 · But most PS2 games should be just an ISO file. You won't even need a program to extract it. Also, can't say for sure but last I tried XBox emulation was pretty awful. PS2, PS3, GameCube up to WiiU is great, though. Try to open a basic PS2 ISO directly on PCSX2 from Desktop mode and make sure things at least play.
