Puffabellys opened in 1995 in an old railroad depot similar to the one that used to be in Old Town Spring. Those hand-pattied burgers are back. When we opened in 1995 we imagined a place that served good food, had a relaxed atmosphere, and played great music.
Specialties: Burgers, Sandwiches, Salads, Catfish, Shrimp, Chicken Fried Steak Opening in 1995, Puffabellys was envisioned to be the place to get good food, relax and have fun while listening to great music. It continued to grow until it was burned down in 1999. It only took 4 months to rebuild and has been going strong ever since!
Day of shopping and curious to try Puffabellys out. So hot outside and cool and comfy inside restaurant. Friendly hostess and waitress. I got the veggie plate and it was good but I thought it needed some salt and pepper. Friend got fired catfish with okra. She said hers was good. Ice tea was in a huge glass! Overall good.
